Lady Dot - Backing Fabrics

Osnaburg: This cotton/linen mix is available in fat quarters (approximately 18" x 22"). This fabric is great for finishing needlework, surface embroidery, or anything else your heart desires. It comes in very soft and muted colors with a touch of splotch, a bit ofprimitive. Remember, hand-dyed items vary a bit from batch to batch. 

• Azurite Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 502. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Cheese Balls Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 3064 with a bit of 402 thrown in. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Crab Grass Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 3053. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Grape Jelly Osnaburg is a lavender shade similar in color to DMC 3042. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Honey Mustard Osnaburg is a gold blend of DMC colors 3046 and 422. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Indigo Bunting Osnaburg is more muted than DMC 793 with a bit of 161 thrown in. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Muddy Bait Osnaburg is a brown similar in color to DMC 07 with a bit of 3032 thrown in. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Old Tutu Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 778. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Peanut Butter Osnaburg is a slightly mottled fabric similar in color to DMC 840. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Pencil Lead Osnaburg is a dark grey similar in color to DMC 04 or the lead in a pencil. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Pilot Light Osnaburg is a blend of blues similar in color to DMC 3752 and 932. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Strawberry Jam Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 3726. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.
• Whole Grain Osnaburg is similar in color to DMC 822 with some tiny flecks of dark brown. Coordinating 1/4" twill is available.

Velveteen: This hand-dyed 100% cotton velveteen is availabe in fat 1/8th cuts (approximately 18" x 10.5"). This fabric is ripped and not cut to maintain the fabric's grain. It is perfect for needlework finishing, applique, quilting - anywhere your creativity takes you. Remember, hand-dyed items vary a bit from batch to batch.

• Blue Bells Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 3755 or 809.
• Blue Corn Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 930.
• Blue Fescue Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 927.
• Cauliflower Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 746/Ecru.
• Chili Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 321.
• Cucumber Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 500 or 501.
• Daffodil Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 726.
• Dahlia Velveteen is similar in color to DMC 3354.
